1:19 pm: Eastbound manifest freight train 38Q rolls around a curve about 2 miles west of Bull’s Gap. I’ve been wondering how realistic it would be to mix some intermodal cars on the end of a manifest freight train on a HO model layout, and seeing 38Q today answered my question. At the end of the long freight train were 10 or 12 intermodal cars carrying a mix of international and domestic containers and trailers on spine cars. |
