Asheville, North Carolina, January 16, 2017, 12:54pm: EMD SD40-2 WAMX 4201 (wearing a SD45 body) leads Watco Company’s Blue Ridge Southern Railroad train T31 by the Lady on an Anchor as it enters the Norfolk Southern yard in Asheville. This is the end of the first leg of T31’s daily Canton-Asheville-Canton run. BLU is based in Canton 20 miles west of Asheville, and the same power will be used to run the nightly T33 train. |
